I love this. The originality behind it is amazing. I'll bet you anything no one's ever done this on dA before. What also caught my eye is how detailed this is. The way Meelo swings his arms is cut smoothly, and you can TELL that it's Meelo. Not just some leafy paper cutout. Aside from that, well, I'd say it had quite a bit of impact then, as I LOVE LOK. If I HAD to criticise it, I'd say that the background could have been slightly more interesting. Not distracting, but a happy medium where we could relate it back to the show once again. Make non-viewers understand that this is a reference to LOK
This is my first critique but I'll try my best as a critic. What you have done right there is incredible. Your deviation right here is very cute and well done. What you have done with your leafy Meelo fan art is amazing, creative, and original. Here I am sitting right in front of my laptop thinking, 'Wow! I wish I would come up with that.' I mean, it's not very often when you see leaves getting cut into whoever's being made but because of that reason, this is what makes it eye-catching for some people. The outline of the famous fartbender is very clear and it's wonderful on how you're able to get the tiny details. I didn't look at the title and I could already recognize him and his forms in the thumbnail. Also, I believe that your leafy Meelo fan art will be able to satisfy any Meelo lover and general Avatar fans. In addition, because of you, every time I see a leaf, I'm going to think of you and Meelo.
Anyways, this is all I've got for this critique and I hope that you have a nice day. Please continue to amaze fellow deviants with your artistic skills!
No problem at all, mate. If you ever need any more help, just ask I hope you know how to smooth out edges too, that way it doesn't look like a cut-and-paste.
