Rock on, the artist has not only made a superb poster for Rock, he was clever enough to hide symbols in this work of art. When you first look at the work, from the bottom to the top, you see something that look almost like a serpent. Look closer the nose is a key hole splitting between its' eyes a needle and the ears resemble some wicked looking knives. I know I am missing something in its face but we must move onto the body. The middle of the body is mad up of a razor blade is flanked by two balls of fire and the wings remind me of a city. The tale of this work reminds me of the legs of the whole band, I know I missed some of the hidden treasures in this work, so look closely and see what I missed. This is one Heavy Metal Rock work of art and it needs to be looked at to get the whole picture.
On a more serious note, the skill it takes to create those symmetrical pattens as used in psych tests truly boggles my mind. Do you go in with the intention of inspiring a specific emotional reaction at the start or just let whatever comes out happen? And if its A, then do such artists know what WILL inspire that reaction and how to convey it on the paper in the construction and flow of the image, or is it purely based upon technical ability to position images over each other that we can't distinguish due to the overlaying pixels??
Good job on the faces, I accidentally thought they were wings. I knew I would miss a couple of the ones that were hidden inside, but the faces are so clear once you know where to look. You really did a good job. No bull about your work just what I saw and what you had to point out.
